National government strengthens Apure hospital network with more than 180,000 medical supplies

The Ministry of Popular Power for Health (MPPS) distributed more than 180,000 units of medical-surgical supplies and material in the state of Apure with the objective of optimizing the operation of the six main hospitals in the llanera entity, increasing the response capacity in each municipality and prioritizing the well-being of residents and visitors.

The endowment directly benefited key centers such as the Pablo Acosta Ortiz Hospital in San Fernando, as well as health institutions in Achaguas, Mantecal, Elorza, Páez and Pedro Camejo. The material delivered includes surgical kits, analgesics, solutions, syringes and cardiovascular medications, ensuring that emergency rooms and general services have the necessary resources to deal with any contingency during the season.

This deployment is the result of coordinated management between the national government, led by President (E) Delcy Rodríguez, and regional health authorities. Thanks to coordination with Minister Nuramy Gutiérrez and Governor Wilmer Rodríguez, a more robust healthcare system has been consolidated in the state of Apure, reaffirming the authorities' commitment to maintaining health as an absolute priority throughout the Venezuelan territory.
