National government strengthens technical support for fish producers to boost production

The Venezuelan Academy of Agricultural Sciences (ACAV), in conjunction with the Socialist Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture (INSOPESCA), carried out a day of inspection and technical advice in production units in the state of Barinas.

The main objective of the operation was to evaluate the development of the fry delivered and to ensure compliance with the technical protocols necessary to strengthen food sovereignty in the region.

During the deployment in the Pedraza and Barinas municipalities, specialized teams biometrically monitored the specimens and verified the correct preparation of lagoons, fertilization and feeding schemes. These actions make it possible to identify and correct critical knots in real time, ensuring that the knowledge imparted during training processes is translated into efficient and high-quality animal protein production.

The results of the inspection showed outstanding technical management in the units visited, with positive advances in the growth of the specimens after two months of evolution. Through this constant support and institutional coordination, the Venezuelan State reaffirms its commitment to the consolidation of sustainable fish farming systems that promote the economic and productive development of field workers.
