National leader: CVG generates resources for its livelihood and provides millions for development

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro from the Siderurgica del Orinoco “Alfredo Maneiro” SIDOR C.A., in the Caroní municipality of the state of Bolívar, stressed that the basic companies of the State of the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana are operating and providing resources to the national treasury.

“As a result of sanctions, we had to paralyze production in some CVG companies and we subsidized the expenses of these plants up to 100%. Now the CVG supports itself with its own resources and contributes millions of dollars per month to the country,” said Maduro.

The Head of State stressed that these resources are aimed at repairing educational and health institutions in the country through Community and Military Brigades.
