Nicolás Maduro, president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, announced this Thursday that 100 Youth Zones will be activated in the same number of cities in the country, for the care, training and recreation of Venezuelan girls.

From the state of Falcón, during the inauguration of the first Youth Zone of the Great Venezuela Youth Mission, the “Hugo Chávez” Recreational Sports Complex in Coro, the head of state stated that “we are going to activate, in the next 90 days, 100 Youth Zones in 100 cities of the country”.

In this regard, the president of the Great Venezuela Youth Mission (GMVJ), Genesis Garvett, pointed out that the Youth Zone “is a space for doing, for creating, for training, for sports, for life.”

“How beautiful that this work, this great sports center, this great sports city, this great city of youth, is a giant sample of what is to come, which is much better,” he said.

He stressed that these spaces are created “because many young people, there at home, want to be singers, many young people like dance, they like poetry, they like health, they like to cultivate, they like to undertake and we said all these programs, 7 vertices of work, how to land them? How do we get to where young people are? How do we ensure that young people do not seek the mission, but that the mission reaches every corner? And this Youth Zone is to guarantee the full enjoyment of all the vertices of work, in the territory anchored deep in the town,” he explained.
