National President: Bolivar will be the alternative state of economic prosperity and political and social strength

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the virtues of the Bolivar state to build itself as the pioneering entity in the construction of economic prosperity and the political and social strength of Venezuela.

Emphasizing the need to transcend the oil rentier model, the head of state highlighted the mining, ecological and tourist potential of the Bolivar state, so he urged the new ruler to strengthen the regional government under the 5 lines of action whose main objective is to guarantee the effectiveness of management under the mandate of the People, as the Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez dreamed.

“When we said goodbye to Commander Chávez, I always remember the last time I saw him, on February 22, 2013, we met there for almost 5 hours at the Military Hospital, I always remember his last guidelines in life, I always remember the care he put into leaving clear lines for us, and I have always been driven by the need for a man like Chávez to be vindicated in action, in work and for his vindication to be an empowered people, but when I see this youth rising up, these women, when I see the consciousness that you have forged and this new collective leadership that rises with conscience, I say it has been worth resisting, it has been worth the sacrifice,” she said.
