National President: Extremists sought to take advantage of the global situation to attack the Venezuelan people

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, denounced that extremist sectors of the Venezuelan right wanted to take advantage of the global situation as a result of the escalation of war in the Middle East to employ destabilizing plans against Venezuela.

During his Con Maduro+ program, the head of state announced that in the coming days the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, will provide details of the latest developments in this area.

“I was meeting with the military high command, with the political high command reviewing plans to ensure political peace in the country. Surely tomorrow Diosdado will report some things that we have achieved these days from the extremist sectors that intend to take advantage of the eggplant that exists in the world to try to do things against the people of Venezuela,” he said.

The National President pointed out that in the face of these pretensions, the call is for national union for peace.

“It's time for the union of all of Venezuela to consolidate our country as one of peace, a paradise of peace, coexistence and work,” he emphasized.
