National President: Peace can only be achieved with respect for international law

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, highlighted the importance of respect for multilateralism and international law by all countries as the only mechanisms to guarantee peace in the world.

In his program With Maduro+, the Venezuelan President referred to Venezuela's proposal to hold a peace summit, in order to guarantee an end to the military escalation initiated by the Zionist regime of Israel with the aggressions against Gaza, Lebanon and Iran.

He indicated that this Venezuelan proposal “expresses the majority sentiment of peace”, while warning that this call made from Venezuela seeks to avoid the escalation that could lead to a nuclear conflict.

“If the war continues to escalate, it could end in a high-level destructive war, including nuclear, because the level of madness of (Benjamin) Netanyahu's war could lead him to start throwing nuclear bombs against Iran,” he warned.

The head of state highlighted the leadership of the president of Türkiye, Recep Tayip Erdogan, in warning about the dangers of warmongering by Israeli Zionism and ratified Venezuela's willingness to contribute to this movement to stop the war in the Middle East and achieve an agreement that guarantees that this region is a zone of peace.
