National President thanked CARICOM leaders: They have raised their voices for the Peoples of the Caribbean

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, thanked the leaders of the Caribbean Community and Common Market (CARICOM), as well as the Episcopal Conference of the Antilles, “for their pronouncements against military threats and threats of war against Venezuela, Colombia and against the entire Caribbean.”

“These leaders of the Caribbean, former prime ministers, have raised their voices for the Peoples of the Caribbean,” he reiterated from the San Carlos Barracks, during the Digital Zone segment, in his program With Maduro+, broadcast number 95.

He argued that this statement “they have done it publicly with courage. It's time for definitions.”

“The threats against the Peoples, of Colombia and the Peoples of the Caribbean, we thought we would never see it. One of two: either you're complicit or you raise your voice.”

The head of state stated that “either you are with the warriors who want death, violence and war or you are with life, with the project of human coexistence, with the truth”.

“We took sides a long time ago. We are with life, with joy and we will continue to thrive with serenity.”
