National President: Venezuela is experiencing economic growth with its own policies

This Monday, January 20, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that he supports and fully agrees with the concept that “Venezuela is experiencing the profound accelerated growth of an economy with its own resources and policies.”

“The policies of the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank or any foreign government do not apply here, they are Made in Venezuela policies, based on our own experience and economic thinking,” he emphasized during the working day to install the National Council for Productive Economy 2025 together with businessmen and the Ministerial Cabinet.

“We are experiencing real economic growth, with our own resources and efforts and within the framework of a new diversified and self-sustainable economic model,” he stressed.

For this reason, he stressed the importance of the first Transformation contemplated in the Plan of the 7 Transformations, called the great economic transformation for good living, whose objective is the equality, prosperity and happiness of the country, as well as full independence, social and political peace, and the fundamental structure of a new economy.

In this regard, he stressed that the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) has projected growth for 2024 “above 9% in the growth of the entire Gross Domestic Product and when you start to analyze the growth of sector by sector, you realize that the Bolivarian Economic Agenda of the engines we have defined has been a success”.

“We must perfect the methodology that led us and emerged from the management of Economic Engines, we have defined 13 engines,” he said.
