National President: We are united in love for Venezuela, this is our land and we have to take care of it

“We are all united in love for Venezuela, united in building the unity of the entire country and united for a just cause, this is our land and we must take care of it.”

With these words, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed the importance of strengthening the unity of all Venezuelans for the defense of the territory and the peace of the Fatherland in the face of the destabilizing pretensions of opposition extremism in alliance with North American imperialism.

During his speech at the close of the Long March commemorating Workers' Day and in defense of the girl Maikelys Espinoza kidnapped by the United States Government, the head of state asked Venezuelan migrants to return to the country and join the construction of the Venezuelan dream.

He reiterated his rejection of the campaign of stigmatization and persecution of Venezuelan migrants and recalled that, despite illegal US sanctions, the Government he leads maintains the policy of rescuing and protecting his compatriots.

“Venezuela is the only country in the world that puts up the money and makes the planes to bring back its migrants, and then we give him comprehensive care and take care of his family and take them home to hug with his family,” he said.
