National President: We have a model relationship with Russia

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted this Monday cooperation with Russia, which has made it possible to advance the PAE (Production, Supply and Export) method, which opens the way for domestic products to the global market.

During the 96th broadcast of his program Con Maduro+, the President referred to the recent meeting of the Russia-Venezuela Business Council, with the participation of 370 businessmen from both nations in business meetings, and that an air route was recently inaugurated between Caracas and St. Petersburg, aspects that account for the ties that unite both nations.

He stressed that the relationship with Russia, which already has almost 25 years of comprehensive cooperation, is an example of modern diplomacy. “We have a relationship with Russia that we could say is exemplary, because the Russians, with President (Vladimir) Putin at the helm, have built a model of respect for international law and cooperation for mutual development. They don't come with imperialist ambitions,” he emphasized.

This brotherhood is also articulated through the PAE, with Russian businessmen showing great interest especially in areas such as cocoa and high-quality Venezuelan chocolate.
