As part of the strengthening of public health policies promoted by President Nicolás Maduro, a new day of the Surgical Plan of the Community Care Network was held in the municipality of San José de Guaribe, managing to directly benefit 15 children and 5 women through completely free surgical interventions, guaranteeing the right to life and well-being of the Venezuelan family.
This operation was possible thanks to the joint work between the Ministry of Popular Power for Health, the Single Health Authority of the State of Guárico, the Bolivarian Government of the San José de Guaribe Municipality, and the coordination of the “Dr. José María Vargas” Comprehensive Community Health Area (ASIC).
During the day, which included hernia surgeries and sterilizations, Jesús Rojas, the State's Single Health Authority, was present, who said:
“Today we are complying with an orientation from President Nicolás Maduro to bring health closer to the people. What has been done here in Guaribe is not only a medical intervention, it is an act of social justice, love and commitment to life.”
For her part, Dr. Magnulys Sánchez, coordinator of the “Dr. José María Vargas” ASIC, highlighted the impeccable work of the medical team and the nursing staff, ensuring that all the necessary pre- and post-operative protocols were carried out:
“Our goal is to provide safe, timely and humane health care. It was an exemplary day in every way, with a very grateful and organized community.”
This surgical day is part of a national plan that aims to consolidate free, comprehensive health care close to communities, where quality medical care is not a privilege, but a guaranteed right.
The Bolivarian Government of Guaribe reaffirms its commitment to continue working for the welfare of each family, making possible what seemed distant, and placing the human being at the center of every public policy.
