National Surgical Plan treated 17 pediatric cases in Zulia

A total of 17 children with otorhinolaryngology pathologies were treated during a day of the Pediatric Surgical Plan, carried out in the state of Zulia.

The interventions were performed at the Military Hospital of Maracaibo, Lieutenant Colonel Francisco Valbuena, according to information published in the newspaper Últime Noticias.

In addition, it became known that in the municipality of San Francisco, the surgical plan in the area of ophthalmology was resumed with 60 cataract surgeries.

“With these surgeries, the program reaches 610 San Franciscan beneficiaries, who have recovered their vision,” the newspaper reported.
