National Surgical Plan treated 1,900 people in Carabobo

More than 1,900 patients benefited in the state of Carabobo in a deployment of the National Surgical Plan, implemented in 13 hospitals in the state of Carabobo.

In this regard, the head of the Surgical Service of the Hospital City Dr. Enrique Tejera (CHET), Kristhel Salazar, stressed “we passed the initial goal, managing to provide effective surgical resolution to each of the patients treated. This is a joint achievement of all health personnel, committed to providing concrete answers to our population.”

Among the pathologies treated are hernias, vesicles, lipomas, mastectomies, biopsies, tonsillectomies and reconstructive procedures through maxillofacial and plastic surgery services.

The healthcare centers that were part of this deployment were the Julia Benítez Maternal and Child Hospital in Guacara, the Maternity Hospital of the South Dr. José María Vargas, and the Dr. Enrique Tejera Hospital City itself, the epicenter of surgical care in the entity.
