Navegantes del Magallanes from Venezuela recovered from Thursday's defeat and this Friday they defeated Club DAOM from Argentina by a score of 7-2 at the Estadio Monumental de Caracas “Simón Bolívar” in La Rinconada, to add their first win in the Series of the Americas.

The Venezuelan champions relied on the offensive of Wilfredo Tovar, Carlos Jesús Pérez, Tucupita Marcano, Hernán Pérez, Ángel Reyes, Luis Sardiñas and Haldreem Corridor to make the game 7-1.

Adrián Almeida took the victory (1-0) by throwing five blank innings of six strikeouts, while the defeated one was Yaferson López (0-1). In the end, the Magallanes novena had a special detail with the Argentinian troop, as they approached the dugout to greet them and pay them honor.
