The National Meeting of State Directors of the Youth Foundation of the “Antonio Cermeño” Neighborhood Youth Foundation made it possible to plan the Concrete Agenda of Action (ACA) for the next 100 days, to implement the programs they are developing in all neighborhoods of the country, in order to transform and improve the quality of life of young people in the popular sectors.

This entity attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Communes and Social Movements (MinComunas), carried out this activity at the Venezuelan School of Planning, located in the Coche parish of Caracas, in order to review the progress of the first quarter of the year and plan for the second quarter of the year.

José Luis Lugo, president of this Foundation, explained that the work carried out will make it possible to contribute to the organization of the grassroots teams of the Venezuela Youth Mission, which has to do with the participation of the 30,000 young people who are spokespersons and spokespersons for the Community and Commune Councils.

He added that they also met to define actions to encourage young people from neighborhoods to participate and vote in the next National Popular Consultation 2024 for communal projects, promoted by President Nicolás Maduro with the purpose of strengthening the leading participation of organized people.

In addition, he said that they are responding to President Nicolás Maduro's call to all young people to join the Great Venezuela Youth Mission. “We are proposing what we have already been doing in the territory, innovating to strengthen this great mission and bring attention to all the young people in the neighborhoods.”

For his part, Elionel Reyes, director of JDB in Falcón state, indicated that the ACA will be developed through the 3 action programs they carry out in the territory, such as Cuadra Tu Chamba, Estudiándola and Activa Tu Barrio, “we will be carrying out political actions for full activation in the territory, in order to give young people tools so that they can improve their quality of life, finish their studies, empower themselves with an enterprise and can generate their own methods of work and their personal income”.

In addition, Diego Lara, director of JDB in the state of Aragua, confirmed that they met to “plan, organize and strengthen our strategies to continue adding more young people to join this beautiful Movement, which translates into life, peace, happiness and equality for all young people, providing them with tools through the programs we offer so that they can spend their time in an art and a profession”.

During the Meeting, state directors received a conference at the headquarters of the Federal Governing Council on the Integration and Communication System (Sinco), created in 2014 as a Community Integration System for project management and direct communication with organized bases.

It is worth noting that this meeting took place over two days and was organized in three working groups led by the three action programs promoted by this Movement, Cuadra Tu Chamba, Activa Tu Barrio and Estudiándola, as a policy promoted by President Nicolás Maduro, in order to improve the quality of life of young people in the neighborhoods.
