New authorities appointed to the Ministry of Health's strategic team

In the Official Gazette number 43,300, the names of the members of the renewed work team of the Ministry of People's Power for Health were published.

The publication reports that Alexandra Josefina Hernández de Castillo, a pharmacist with extensive experience in the field of health regulation in the country, assumes as Deputy Minister of Resources, Technology and Regulation, in her capacity as manager; in addition, citizen Magda Mara Magris Crestini, Director of Research at the Simón Bolívar Amazon Center for Research and Control of Tropical Diseases, was appointed Deputy Minister of Collective Health Networks, also in the capacity of manager.

In the same way, Mauricio Erasmo Vega Méndez, who was Deputy Minister of Health Services Networks, was appointed Deputy Minister of Hospitals, in the capacity of manager; Noly Fernández Hernández, who has served as the Single Health Authority of the state of Zulia, will assume as Deputy Minister of Ambulatory Health Care Networks, in her capacity as manager.

In addition, the appointment of new authorities to head decentralized entities attached to the Ministry of Health was made official. The citizen María Gabriela Pulido Cumana will assume the presidency of Venezolana of Technological Services for Health Equipment (VENSALUD), while Adriana Yurancy Merchán Biñatte will be in charge of the presidency of the National Corporation for Health Supplies (CONSALUD). For her part, Yusmila Josefina Martínez will lead the Socialist Company for the Production of Biological Drugs (Espromed BIO).
