The National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) reported this Friday, through a statement, the execution of a new terrorist attack against the National Electricity System (SEN).

This new attack affected the supply in the evening hours in several sectors of the country. The statement gave an account of three people arrested who are linked to extremist sectors of the Venezuelan right.

“Our CORPOELEC technical teams acted promptly and restored electrical service in record time. To the perpetrators of this attack, we firmly say: They could not and will not be able to against the will of the people!” , reads the official statement.

In this way, the Ministry of People's Power for Electric Energy (MPPEE) activated the corresponding research protocols in coordination with the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace (MPPRIJP) to determine responsibility for the events that occurred on April 11.
