New vice-ministers appointed for the Ministry of Communication and Information

In order to strengthen the nation's communication policy and strategic narratives, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, appointed social communicators Johan Briceño Bermúdez, Gustavo Villapol Ríos and Alberto Alvarado Galiz, as new vice-ministers of the Ministry of Popular Power for Communication and Information (MIPPCI).

These appointments were announced through Article 4 of Official Gazette No. 43,299.

For his part, the minister of the MIPPCI, Miguel Pérez Pirela, reported the above-mentioned designations on his account on the social network Telegram.

“With joy I announce the appointment of three young and talented Venezuelans in charge of 3 of the Strategic Vice Ministries for New Communication that our Homeland requires in these historic moments,” he said.

The minister published a brief review of the trajectory of the appointees:

“Dr. Gustavo Villapol, Deputy Minister of Communication Management, writer, expert in political communication and data analysis, has directed spaces for the dissemination of information in institutions, political parties, movements and electoral campaigns.

Mr. Alberto Alvarado, Deputy Minister of Planning and Communication Strategy, audiovisual and multiplatform program producer. Professor in political communication. Expert in team building for communication strategy and the construction of narratives.

Mr. Johan Briceño: Deputy Minister of Communication and Information, creator and editor of the most viral digital media in the country. Expert in editorial and discursive lines”.
