The ceasefire in place for a month has not restored conditions for daily life in Gaza, the NGO Save the Children reported.

The NGO indicated that damage to homes, lack of machinery and war waste prevent families from resuming repairs.

He stressed that international organizations have expanded assistance, but the volume of aid does not cover basic needs, especially among children. Restrictions on the entry of heavy materials and equipment make it difficult to restore infrastructure and essential services, Prensa Latina reported.

The institution warned that the presence of tens of thousands of unexploded ordnance increases the risk of mutilation and injuries that require prolonged rehabilitation.

Save the Children called on the international community and competent bodies to increase the supply of materials, machinery and protection to reduce the impact on children and families.
