Nicaragua celebrates the release of Maikelys Espinoza

The President and Vice President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo, respectively, celebrated the return of the girl Maikelys Espinoza to Venezuela.

Through an official statement, the leaders greeted “the families of those beloved lands, President Nicolás Maduro, Cilia, and the colleague Yarelys Bernal, mother of the little girl Maikelys Espinoza Bernal, who has just arrived in her homeland, after the effective efforts of President Nicolás Maduro”.

The letter added that the U.S. government yielded to “justified and growing international pressure and from the Venezuelan people who, together with their mother, cried out for justice in the face of the savage action that separated that little girl from her mother.”

Finally, the document emphasized that they will continue their fight to “curb the cruelty and hatred that plagues the world. Universal values cannot continue to be ignored by Earth's imperialists. They couldn't, nor will they!”
