Nicaragua's Foreign Minister, Denis Moncada Colindres, reiterated his country's support for Venezuela and called for the immediate withdrawal of U.S. military units from the Caribbean Sea.

During the Meeting of Parliamentarians of the Greater Caribbean for Peace, Moncada expressed Nicaragua's support for President Nicolás Maduro and the Venezuelan people, while defending the right of nations to preserve their sovereignty without external interference.

The head of Nicaraguan diplomacy denounced the disinformation campaigns and pressure actions promoted by the United States Government against Venezuela and reiterated his country's commitment to regional integration. In this regard, he evoked the legacy of Simon Bolivar and invited to strengthen the union between the Peoples of the Caribbean.
