Nicolás Maduro: 2024 began and the right wing went to war to harm the people

When an electoral year begins, the opposition, instead of preparing to face a democratic contest, it does so to provoke acts of violence that affect the tranquility of the people and harm them, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

“Venezuela between a period of presidential elections and the extreme right, mercenary, parasitic does not enter into this process, they enter into war to harm the people, for terrorist attacks, for guarimbas, for violence, for war against public services,” said the Head of State during his telephone participation in the Proclamation of the Working Class of Guiana in his support.

In this regard, the president called on all people to be alert to defeat these actions of the extreme right. “Attention workers, I entrust them: Faced with the coup, plan for Bolivarian fury,” he stressed.

In this regard, he emphasized that 2024 will be a year to advance in the consolidation of unions, workers' councils, economic recovery and labor rights and the entry of the working class.

“In our destiny, the working class has only one word written: Victory,” he emphasized.
