“International law is dying after the kidnapping, by the United States,” of President Nicolás Maduro and the first lady, Cilia Flores, said the deputy to the National Assembly, Nicolás Maduro Guerra.
“President Nicolás Maduro and the first lady, Cilia Flores, were kidnapped in violation of all international law, the conventions that protect Heads of State, our sovereignty was violated, undermining international law. Today, international law is wounded and bleeding,” he said since the great mobilization of January 23 to demand the release of the President.
On the other hand, he reiterated the peaceful nature of Venezuela, which is a country of peace that has never attacked or will attack other nations. “We are a country that has chosen an alternative model for the world, a model of social justice, of greater equality for families,” he stressed.
On the other hand, the parliamentarian stressed that in our country there is great indignation at the brutal attack of the United States against our nation and pointed out that this discontent is being expressed in the streets of Caracas.
“We are in the streets, as Chávez taught us, as our leaders have taught us, together with the people demanding, expressing our anger at the criminal attack that occurred on January 3, in which Venezuelans and Cuban brothers were massacred. We demand justice for that,” he emphasized.
