This Friday, January 9th, the deputy to the National
Assembly, Nicolás Maduro Guerra, reaffirmed that today the People
of Bolivar and Chávez are in the streets raising their voices so that the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and the First Combatant, Cilia Flores, return
safely.
“The world has its eyes on Venezuela, they are watching
us and they are seeing the anger of the Venezuelan people that is transformed
into dignity and becomes an organization (...) there is a great national consensus in
rejection of the criminal aggression that Venezuela was the victim of on January 3,”
he said during the Great March of the Social Movements for the
liberation of the head of state and his wife in Caracas.
He also thanked the courageous
people of Venezuela who are in the streets today demanding the return
of President Maduro and Cilia Flores. “Thank you for so much love,
for so much support, I don't feel alone, we don't feel alone, we feel accompanied by
you and you're not alone either, you have us here standing up to you,” he
said.
In the same way, faced with these new historical
circumstances that the country is going through, he urged
Venezuelans to remain united; as well as requested trust
around the Political High Command.
“All the support for the president is entrusted by Delcy
Rodríguez, Dr. Jorge Rodríguez, Diosdado Cabello, the
Bolivarian Government, the PSUV (United Socialist Party of Venezuela), the Great Patriotic Pole and
the
dignified and resistant Bolivarian National Armed Forces,” he said, also stressing that the decisions that
are taken and everything that is happening are part of the approved plan of the President
Nicolas Maduro.
He also stressed that we must continue to
mobilize in the streets demanding the release of President Maduro
and Cilia Flores, who have the peace of mind that they
are innocent of what they are trying to falsely accuse them of. In addition, he
also valued the voices of the world that have stood up in solidarity with the cause of
Venezuela.
“Let's have no doubt that they are going to return and let's
have no doubt, I tell you, everything that is, all we are doing today
as a government was Nicolás Maduro's plan, which he
personally approved, all of us are following his instructions, he left the
line marked and he was ready for everything,” he said and assured that Venezuela
will remain firm, determined and on the street until his return.
