The recent decision of the Donald Trump administration to revoke Chevron's license to exploit oil in Venezuela has caused great damage to the communication that had opened up between the United States and our country.

This was stated by President Nicolás Maduro, who assured that these actions have affected the National Government's plans to repatriate compatriots who are in the United States persecuted only because they are migrants.

“We already had the planes ready to bring us all our migrants. It is terrible that this persecution is taking place against human beings who went to the United States seeking a better economic future as a result of the sanctions imposed on our country,” he highlighted during the opening ceremony of the Walk of the Heroines of Resistance and Independence in the Paseo Monumental de los Próceres, Fuerte Tiuna.

In this regard, he stressed that, despite this new attack, the country will continue on the path to prosperity and a better future.
