Nicolás Maduro: The Revolution has achieved great achievements in positioning women as a power within society

Over the past 25 years, the Bolivarian Revolution has achieved great achievements in positioning women as a power within the different seats of society, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
During the opening ceremony of the Walk of the Heroines of Resistance and Independence in the Paseo Monumental de los Próceres, Fuerte Tiuna, the Head of State emphasized that women now play a leading role in politics, economy and science.
In the same way, he highlighted the feminist character that Commander Chávez imposed on the Revolution and how it has been maintained during his term of office.
In this regard, in the context of the commemoration of International Women's Day, she stressed that feminism must be used as a flag to continue consolidating the path to our full independence.
“We have to promote feminism based on love, non-violence, non-discrimination,” she stressed.
