This Sunday, after an intense campaign in which the country's candidate toured more than 300 cities to commit to the People to continue consolidating peace, stability and a prosperous future, the National Electoral Council (CNE) proclaimed Nicolás Maduro's victory as elected president for the period 2025-2031.

“This is the triumph of peace, of the republican ideal, of equality and this Commander Chávez is your triumph!” , were the words of the president-elect after the results were announced in a speech given from the Miraflores Palace.

The first results reported by the CNE with 80% of the minutes counted gave the candidate of the Fatherland 51.20% of the votes corresponding to 5 million 150 thousand 92 votes.

“This is a strong and irreversible trend,” emphasized the president of the CNE when reading these first results.

“They couldn't beat us!” , exclaimed the head of state and leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, who highlighted the strength and resistance of the Venezuelan people who knew how to overcome all the psychological war that was used.
