With a thanksgiving mass, a tour and community sharing in Santa Lucía del Tuy, Miranda state, the bicentennial image of the Child Jesus of Curiepe culminated its annual pilgrimage through the Tuy Valleys.

The tour, which lasted three consecutive days and covered the municipalities of Independencia, Simón Bolívar, Tomás Lander, Rafael Urdaneta and Cristóbal Rojas, allowed parishioners to demonstrate their devotion and uninterrupted faith for 16 years.

The butler of the Child Jesus of Curiepe, Jhonny Maestre, reported that, after the visit to the Tuyero temples, the brotherhood is preparing to visit the Historic Center of Petare this Saturday, January 31 and Guatire on Sunday, February 1.

He added that the cycle of the Traveling Child Jesus will formally close on February 8 to respect the beginning of Lent. “It's a time of joy and sharing that allows us to strengthen our roots,” he said.
