In the United Kingdom, 378 people were deprived of their liberty because they were involved in violent protests organized by extreme right-wing groups, as reported by the chief inspector of the Council of Chiefs of Police, Gavin Stephens.

Security forces continue to identify those involved in order to arrest them, in an attempt to guarantee the population a united and robust police response against the violence unleashed across the country, Stephens told British media Sky News .

Last Monday night, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, announced the creation of a permanent unit of 400 specialized police officers to deal with violent disturbances such as those that occurred in the last week.

The protests supported by the extreme right began after the multiple stabbing that occurred on July 29 in Southport, in the northwest of England, in which three girls died and where eight minors and two adults were injured after a 17-year-old boy entered a recreational center and attacked the attendees of a yoga workshop.
