North Korea launched several ballistic missiles into the Sea of Japan

This Monday, North Korea launched several unidentified ballistic missiles into the Sea of Japan (known as the East Sea in both Koreas), according to a statement issued by the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).

“Our army detected several projectiles that are estimated to be short-range ballistic missiles launched from the Pyongyang area into the East Sea around 15:01 (06:01 GMT) today, Monday, April 22,” the JCS explained.

Telesur quoted the attached note in which it added that the projectiles hit the water after traveling approximately 300 kilometers.
