Official Gazette published the appointment of Laura Guerra Angulo as president of the BCV

This Friday, the Official Gazette of the Republic number 5,119 was published in which the National Executive appoints Laura Guerra Angulo as president of the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV).

Guerra Angulo directed the Social Protection Fund for Bank Deposits (FOGADE) and the Fund for National Development (FONDEN). She also served as national superintendent of Internal Auditing and also in the management structure of PDVSA in Colombia.

After the publication of the new board of directors of the BCV, it will be composed of Laura Guerra Angulo, as president; Anabel Pereira Fernández, Minister of Economy, Finance and Foreign Trade as representative director of the National Executive; Luis Alberto Pérez González; Christian Martell Ramírez; Carlos Cestari Infantini ; Christiam Hernández Verdecana and Santiago Armando Lazo Ortega as directors.
