The Spaniard Iván Fernández was announced as the new technical director of Academia Puerto Cabello for the rest of the Closing Tournament of the Venezuelan Football League (FUTVE League)
“We received Iván Fernández Álvarez, who is in charge of the new coaching staff of our club, at the house of the Guerreros del Fortín,” the team said in a message posted on their account on the social network X.
He also stated that they are sure that they will experience great moments under Fernández's command.
Fernández will be accompanied in the coaching staff by Hugo Simoes Villegas and Santos Fonterigo Quiñones.
The Spanish coach comes from managing Portugal's U23 Vizela.
