Official! Noel “Chita” Sanvicente will not continue to command Academia Puerto Cabello (+FUTVE League)

Professor Noel “Chita” Sanvicente will not continue as technical director of Academia Puerto Cabello, the team he joined at the end of 2022.

Chita's departure was made official by the Porteño club through a post on its account on the social network X.

“With total admiration and gratitude, we bid farewell to our technical director, Noel Sanvicente, who, by mutual agreement, completes a year and a half cycle at the head of our institution, leaving an indelible mark on the history of Academia Puerto Cabello,” the publication reported.

Sanvicente managed to make it to the quarterfinals in 2023 and qualified for their first Copa Libertadores and in the 2024 Apertura Tournament they were eliminated in the semifinals home runs.

Chita left a record of 27 wins, 14 draws and 23 losses.
