Olympic Stadium G/D José Antonio Anzoátegui will have an athletics track

The governor of the state of Anzoátegui, Luis José Marcano, reported on the beginning of the installation of the athletic track at the José Antonio Anzoátegui Olympic Stadium G/D.

According to information released by the government, this is a work by President Nicolás Maduro, and “represents one of the best news this year for sports in the state.”

From the soccer field, Marcano assured that the track will have the international certification of World Athletics and that it is a high-impact project for sports development, especially for young people.

“The Libertador Simón Bolívar Sports Center and its José Antonio Anzoátegui Olympic Stadium are going to be decorated with this athletic track, in addition to the recovery work that has been carried out on this majestic infrastructure, a source of pride for the people of Anzoatigua,” he said.
