This Wednesday, January 14, the general secretary of the opposition Democratic Action (AD) party, José Bernabé Gutiérrez, rejected the military aggression of the United States (USA) against Venezuela, calling it an “irresponsible and criminal” act.

During his interview on the Café in the Morning program of Venezolana de Televisión, he specified that the US action “is criticizable and reproachable from every point of view, no one has the right to intervene in any other country, much less how they did it.”

Faced with this scenario, he took the opportunity to recognize the work of the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, following the actions of imperialism against the country last Saturday, which resulted in the kidnapping of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and the first lady, Cilia Flores.

“She works for the welfare of the country and Venezuelans, she has not rested, we have seen her act not only in the national situation, but also in the international context, meeting with ambassadors and talking on the phone with presidents,” he said.

In turn, he mentioned that as a sign of the call for national reconciliation, he recalled that more than 400 people have already been released from prison, it represents a message of reconciliation in the country.
