Opposition deputies confirm their commitment to the defense of the nation

The National Secretary General of the Advanced Progressive Party (AP) and member of the National Assembly, Luis Augusto Romero, confirmed the commitment of the democratic opposition to national interests above all differences.

“We will accompany the defense of the nation in all spheres to every event under all circumstances,” he said during his participation in the act of Installation of the Constitutional Legislative Period 2026-2031 and the Annual Session of Ordinary Sessions 2026-2027.

He asserted that for 5 years in the National Assembly they had very tough debates, but with great respect and with recognition of differences and plurality.

“This act is part of the administrative continuity that the Venezuelan State requires to continue maintaining sovereignty and order in the country, this parliament must navigate troubled waters like never before, an aggression so savage, so barbaric, so brutal against a Latin American country,” he added.
