Opposition longline attacks the FANB for complying with the traditional closure of borders in elections

Through social networks, journalists identified with opposition extremism have released videos in order to promote a false narrative of the “illegality” of the border closure measure that is traditionally carried out in the country before and during electoral events.

This attempt to discredit the actions of the Venezuelan Government and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces seeks to promote a negative narrative about the electoral process as part of the preparations for ignoring the victory of the revolutionary forces and trying to justify the everlasting hymn of “fraud”.

In this new fake news about longline travel at the service of La Sayo, the resolution published in the Extraordinary Official Gazette 6,285, issued on July 23, informing the prohibition of the border movement of people by land, air and sea since Friday, July 24 at 12:01am, has been silenced.

This measure, as stated in the joint resolution of the Ministries for Defense and for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, will continue until Monday, July 29 at 8:00am.

The measure is adopted “with the objective of safeguarding the inviolability of borders and preventing activities of people who could pose threats to the security of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on the occasion of the Presidential Election on July 28”.
