Orluis Aular continues to shine in the Giro d'Italia and finishes fourth in the fifth stage

The Venezuelan cyclist confirmed that he is willing to write his name among the world's elite cyclists to come in fourth place in the 5th stage of the Giro d'Italia 2025.
On a 145-kilometer route from Ceglie Messapica to Matera, a race was marked by the high speed of a select group led by Mads Pedersen, Edoardo Zambanini and Oular.
Aular was in the top four in three of the five contested stages of the Giro Rosa, ranking 18th less than a minute behind Pedersen.
In addition, the Venezuelan is in fourth place in the points standings with a total of 42 units, behind Casper van Unden (50), Olav Kooij (52) and Pedersen (139). With this performance, Aular continues to consolidate itself as one of the protagonists of the race.
The seventh stage, scheduled for Thursday, May 15, will be the most extensive of the competition with a 227-kilometer route between Potenza and Naples, including two categorized climbs that will test the endurance of cyclists, highlighted the Líder portal.
