Padrino López: The 21st-century FANB is virtuous, cultured, patriotic, liberating and anti-imperialist

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) of the 21st century is virtuous, cultured, patriotic, liberating and anti-imperialist, said Defense Minister G/J Vladimir Padrino López.

In a video posted on his Instagram account, Padrino López called on young people from the FANB to prepare themselves, both in the intellectual and military fields. “Come then, come all of you, come to the intellectual combat, of ideas, of lights, without sheathing your swords. With the sword drawn, but with the books open. And there we will magically achieve the perfect combination of what a 21st century armed force should be,” he said.

In this regard, the senior military officer emphasized that the strength of the FANB is not measured only by the power of our weapons, but by the clarity and depth of our conscience and spirit.
