Padrino López: We are going to guarantee peace in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela

The Sectorial Vice President for Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace, Vladimir Padrino López, confirmed that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces will guarantee peace in the country after the successful holding of the presidential elections this Sunday, July 28.

“The results of popular expression, of popular sovereignty, will be transmitted by the National Electoral Council the moment they appoint us as the governing body . We, the people, will be attentive,” he said in statements broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).

In this regard, he once again urged reflection, “we don't want unwary people out there to start playing the role of useful fools to disturb the peace of this country. We arrived here after a great effort, a great effort, we arrived here today, July 28 for these elections so that the people of Venezuela could express themselves”,

He reiterated that the FANB will “guarantee peace in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela”, stressing that President Nicolás Maduro called them to “a meeting to review all these aspects of security, peace, and coexistence, after giving us a photograph like the one we have given to the whole world of how an electoral process develops civically.”
