Padrino López: We are obliged to defend the democratic and legal system

The Minister of People's Power for Defense, GJ. Vladímir Padrino López, stressed the importance of protecting democracy and the country's sovereignty.
“We are obliged to defend the democratic and legal system, that is our project: the Bolivarian Constitution of Venezuela,” said Padrino López during the Saturday day of the Militia with Combatant Corps.
He stressed that the Magna Carta invites the comprehensive defense of the nation, with everyone united in a single power block. In his words, this cohesion “sends a message out, not only to those who attack us, but also to the other Peoples of the world as an example of struggle”.
Padrino López recalled that the country is in a constituent process that must face threats and attempts at interventionism, and emphasized that “God is on the side of just causes, with the Venezuelan people. God is with us because we are good, this is not the false story that we wanted to install in Latin America.”
With these statements, he reiterated that the Popular-Military-Police Fusion constitutes the basis for the comprehensive defense of the nation and the guarantee of peace against any external threat.
