The Presidency of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) condemned the Israeli government's decision to declare land in the occupied West Bank as state property, describing the measure as a “serious escalation and a flagrant violation of international law”.

He also emphasized that these acts are an “open Israeli attempt to legalize the expansion of settlements” and the confiscation of land, directly threatening the security and stability of the nation.

“The measure annuls the signed agreements and contradicts Resolution 2334 of the UN Security Council, which declares Israeli settlement activity without legal validity and as a violation of international law,” emphasized the ANP.

In addition, he warned that the decision to classify West Bank lands as state territories under Israeli authority constitutes a de facto annexation of Palestinian territory, marking the beginning of the implementation of annexation plans aimed at consolidating the occupation through the illegal expansion of settlements.

Faced with these unilateral actions, Palestine emphasized that they will not grant any legitimacy to the Israeli occupation of its State's land, nor will they alter the legal and historical status of the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip as occupied Palestinian territories.

For this reason, he urgently called on the international community, especially the United Nations Security Council and the United States government, to intervene immediately, stop dangerous Israeli actions and force Israel to comply with international law to reduce tensions and restore stability.
