Parliament appointed presidents and vice-presidents of the Permanent Committees of the AN

In a regular session this Tuesday, the president of the National Assembly (AN), Deputy Jorge Rodríguez (PSUV/National), appointed the directors of the 15 permanent committees of the Legislative Branch.

Prior to the appointment, Rodríguez thanked the work of the 15 committees of the 2021-2025 constitutional legislative period, which led to the drafting of 100 laws, which were duly sanctioned by the AN.

At the same time, he urged parliamentarians to maintain and deepen the functions of these bodies for the 2026 regular session, which began on January 5.

He requested that public consultations with the people be more intense and prolific, so that they are aware of the discussions that are established in each of the commissions.

The directives of the 15 standing committees were formed as follows:
