The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during his program With Maduro+, thanked an important pastor of an evangelical church in the state of Michigan in the United States, who expressed his support for the call for peace and the cessation of war threats against Venezuela.

“I received a very emotional letter of strong support from a pastor of the Evangelical Christian Movement of the United States, to join in a chain of prayer with the evangelical church of Venezuela, to cry out for peace and to keep the war away from our continent, the activity will be tomorrow, Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 6:00 in the afternoon,” he said.

In the letter read by the head of state, the American pastor said that from his congregation “we will pray that the spirit of confusion and violence will be expelled and that the discernment of the Lord will rest on those who make military decisions in my country.”

In addition, he says that in this pastoral activity “we will also pray for you, President Maduro, so that Christ will give you wisdom, humility, clarity and strength to guide your people with a peaceful and firm heart”.

Given this, the National President reported that the country will join this Tuesday, October 18, the chain of prayer proposed by American spiritual representatives.
