Patriot March commemorates the People's victory in Operation Black First against attempted mercenary invasion “Gideon”

In perfect civic military police union, Venezuelans celebrated 5 years since the victory of the patriotic forces over the attempted mercenary invasion organized and financed by opposition extremism with the support of North American imperialism and the extinct Colombian government chaired by Iván Duque.

From the early hours of this Saturday morning, soldiers, police and organized people toured the coast of the state of La Guaira to remember the success of “Operation Black First, Crush of the Enemy”, which, under the leadership of President Nicolás Maduro, dismantled this mercenary invasion attempt that they called “Operation Gideon” executed on May 3, 2020.

The success of this operation patriots the professionalism and defense capacity of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces and the police forces that fought these criminals whose plan was to enter the country and assassinate President Maduro, as well as to generate terrorist actions to alter the country's peace.

On this day, the world was also able to observe iconic images that demonstrated the organization and courage of the Venezuelan people, where bare-chested fishermen went out to travel the coasts in their boats to locate the invaders and then subdue them until they surrendered.

“The Joint Operation Black First, in a civic-military police union, crushed a group of mercenaries and terrorists who tried to invade Venezuela with the objective of ending my life, but the people did not leave them and went out to defend the territory in Puerto Cruz Beach, ensuring national tranquility. Venezuela is a territory of peace!” , exalted the head of state when he recalled this heroic feat of the Patriot People.
