The workers of the Venezuelan Ministry of People's Power of Hydrocarbons and Petroleum (PDVSA) mobilized this Thursday across the country to categorically condemn the new imperial pretensions of the United States government to steal the country's resources.

From the capital city, worker Jorge Matson, explained that “oil workers have overcome the attacks of the right wing, both domestic and foreign, as was the oil opening in the year 90 that generated the sabotage of 2002, and the criminal blockade through unilateral coercive measures.”

In that regard, he reiterated that history has demonstrated that the United States and its lackeys, through transnational companies, have come to the country to extract Venezuelan reserves.

On the other hand, from the Orinoco Oil Belt “Hugo Chávez”, worker Alejandro Fuente asserted that the oil working class is united in a single sense and supports the policies of President Nicolás Maduro Moros, and in rejection of the interference of the North American government.

PDVSA belongs to Venezuelans and Venezuelan women,” he said, on a television show for Venezolana de Televisión.

Similarly, in Falcón state, the workers of the Paraguaná Refrigeration Center took to the streets to confirm their support for the Bolivarian Government and in rejection of the “naval blockade” imposed by the United States that aims to seize the natural resources of the Venezuelan nation, an action that violates international law
