The Bolivarian Government of Miranda and the Plaza Mayor's Office provided motorcycle-type patrol units and helmets for the 24 Peace Quadrants operating in the jurisdiction.

In this regard, the governor, Elio Serrano, pointed out that the key to reducing the rates of violence has been the perfect articulation between the different levels of government.

“The combination of efforts to provide security for our people is essential. This is the result of that conjunction when we see our Militia, the Bolivarian National Guard, the municipal and regional police and the CICPC working together; only in this way can the objectives of peace be achieved,” he said.

For his part, Mayor Antonio Galíndez pointed out that in the municipality there are “permanent tours, not only in communities but also in educational institutions. We have been constantly equipping our police and today we are taking another step in that direction.”

The activity was attended and accompanied by the various security forces that live in the town: Plaza Municipal Police, Miranda Police, Bolivarian National Police (PNB), the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), Civil Protection and the Bolivarian National Militia.
