Peasants from Portuguesa choose their municipal spokesperson

In the state of Portuguesa, elections are being held for the municipal spokespersons of the Peasant Councils, as part of the process of organizing the peasant movement in the entity.

“We are all here to exercise our right to vote and choose our spokespersons who will represent us here in the municipality of Guanare. I am very grateful for this day,” said the entity's peasant leader.

During the day, the peasants reiterate their request for the release of President Nicolás Maduro and the first female combatant Cilia Flores, in addition to expressing their willingness to continue promoting food sovereignty.
