This Saturday, February 14, the first vice-president of the National Assembly, Pedro Infante, denounced that the opposition leader Henrique Capriles is trying to manipulate information about the international aid that Venezuela receives.

“There are those who always try to distort and manipulate the truth,” Infante said through his X account, in response to Capriles' publication in which he only thanks the help received by the United States (USA), omitting that other countries after the attack on January 3 have also provided support to the country.

Infante recalled that Brazil donated material to guarantee dialysis to Venezuelan patients for five months and that a donation of 3 million dollars was also received for hospital medical equipment from the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

He also highlighted that the donation of 945,000 dollars in outpatient medicine received yesterday by the United States was made “within the framework of the purchase that Venezuela is making of hospital medical equipment and medicine to this country for 140 million dollars, with money unlocked in the binational cooperation agenda.”
